To be eligible for insurance cover with ACSuper, a person must:

• be initially employed by a participating employer;
• be a member of ACSuper;
• be aged 15 to 69 (TPD and income protection not available from 65)
• reside in Australia (unless the person is working outside Australia with our approval pursuant to policy documents) and must be:
  • an Australian Citizen; or
  • a permanent resident within the meaning of the Migration Act 1958; or
  • a lawful non-citizen, within the meaning of the Migration Act 1958 for whom the employer is required to make contributions,
• not be working in an excluded occupation.
